Secure payments in the Van Gogh Museum store
The page on which you make your purchases uses the e-Commerce solution by Buckaroo. When you deposit information on the payment page or place an order, Buckaroo checks if your browser connection is secure. The Buckaroo server is firewall secured; entry to their databases is strictly controlled and sensitive information is coded. The software that is used to process credit card payments includes secure server software (SSL). Buckaroo also guarantees not to sell, rent or lease information about customers and contacts to third parties. Buckaroo transfers your financial details to the bank that carries out the financial transaction. The van Gogh Museum store only has access to part of the card number to check the purchase.
