Validity
These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop to you. The Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop may amend these terms from time to time. You will be notified of any amendments by a notice on the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop site.
Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop contract with you
As soon as the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop has sent you an email confirming receipt and acceptance of your order a contract exists between the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop and you. The Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any goods ordered.
Pricing and availability
The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop's site. Such information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed, includes VAT (at the standard Dutch rate). There shall be an additional charge for delivery, the amount of which shall vary according to the delivery method that you choose.
Delivery of goods
The Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop shall send the goods ordered to the delivery address, which you supply. All delivery times quoted on the Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop site are estimates based on availability, normal processing and delivery time. Your credit card will be debited on processing of your order. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full. Risk will pass to you on delivery.
Van Gogh Museum’s Online Shop guarantee and returns policy
If for any reason you are unhappy with any or all of the goods received, you can return any of them to the Van Gogh Museum Online Shop for an exchange or refund, providing each is returned to Van Gogh Museum Online Shop returns processing centre within 30 days from the date of order or 14 working days from the day after you receive the goods (whichever is longer). Van Gogh Museum Online Shop recommends that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods. Van Gogh Museum Online Shop shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or defective goods but if replacement is not possible then we will credit the amount spent by you on the order.
Intellectual Property + Copyright
All Intellectual Property Rights relating to (advertising) initiatives by vangoghmuseumshop.com, including the Web shop, rest with Van Gogh Museum Online Shop.
The information provided on the Webshop may only be used, copied, distributed in modified form for information purposes, and only after obtaining the express written consent of Van Gogh Museum Online Shop (customerservice@vangoghmuseumshop.com).
Unauthorised use of the name of Van Gogh Museum Online Shop, and of all images, logos and graphics and Trademarks or the unauthorised copying of the content of this Webshopv without the permission of Van Gogh Museum Online Shop shall be in violation of Dutch and international copyright laws.
The Customer and (other) users of the Webshop acknowledge these rights and guarantee that they shall refrain from any breach thereof, which includes making copies of the webshop other than technical copies required for using the websjop(loading and displaying).
Governing law and jurisdiction
Contracts between you and the Van Gogh Museum's Online Shop are governed by Dutch law. All disputes arising out of or in connection with contracts between you and Van Gogh Museum's Online Shop shall be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Invalidity of terms and conditions
If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.
