Van Gogh Connects
Van Gogh’s strength of will and determination are an infinite source of inspiration for the founders of Daily Paper. Just like Vincent, they chose a less obvious path, and one where success was not guaranteed.
Daily Paper: ‘We also tried to select some of Vincent van Gogh’s less popular works, which are just as brilliant as the better-known works. Van Gogh connects cultures and people from all ages and backgrounds. He painted farmers, citizens and country people. Van Gogh doesn’t only tap into an exclusive world, he is there for the people, just like we are’.
With bold colour-saturated prints, the collection champions creative expression, while also celebrating equality, unity and inclusivity. This collaboration highlights how Van Gogh is a role model for everyone.
‘I am not an adventurer by choice but by fate.’

The collaboration resulted from Van Gogh Connects, a museum project that aims to connect young people from different backgrounds with Van Gogh’s art, making the relationship between the two stronger and more accessible.
Documentary maker Safi Graauw shadowed the three founders of Daily Paper during the creation and launch of the Van Gogh collection.
