What are the new import regulations?
UK delivery is available for orders with a consignment value above £135. This minimum order amount is linked to new regulations for imports to the UK from the EU.
When placing your order in our webstore, 21% EU VAT is automatically deducted from your order. However you may be required to pay import VAT, customs duty and handling fees on your purchased products to UK Customs at the time of import into the UK. To avoid unpleasant surprises upon delivery, please feel free to contact our customer service. Depending on the products you want to buy, we can provide you an estimate of the VAT and import duties to be paid.
How much is the delivery charge?
Shipping costs will be calculated based on your shipping address and the weight and the size of your order. The costs will be visible inside the Shopping Cart.
Please note that shipments to the UK may be charged with import duty & other additional taxes. Charges vary depending on the products you order and will be the responsibility of the consignee.
Will there be additional duties or taxes payable on my purchase?
Shipments to Great Britain are subject to import tax as of 01-01-2021.
We offer VAT-free purchases for all non-EU customers, however you will have to pay British VAT and import tax upon arrival of the package at UK customs. More information about these costs can be obtained from the customs authorities of your country. Please take into account an additional amount of 20% UK VAT plus 0-12% import tax per product.

What are the delivery times?
We aim to deliver your parcel within 2 to 4 working days. Your parcel will be delivered by DHL Express with On Demand Delivery service. Please note that these delivery estimates do not include time needed for customs clearance in your country.
Once your order has been dispatched we will send you a confirmation email along with your unique tracking number.
Exceptions:
Please note our custom prints and canvases have a longer lead time, it takes 5 working days to prepare. For all shipments we use DHL Express with On Demand Delivery service.

Can I track my order?
All parcels are shipped with DHL Express using track & trace and a signature is required for every delivery.
What's a track & trace code?
When your package has left for shipping, you will receive a track and trace code by mail so you can follow your order. Haven't received a track and trace code? Please alert us to request your track & trace code.
What's On Demand Delivery?
All international orders can be shipped with DHL Express, including On Demand Delivery service.
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping notification from DHL Express with an estimated delivery date/time. When this doesn’t fit your schedule, you can customize your delivery via DHL ODD and decide how, where and when the delivery takes place at the time and location that suits you best.
Does the Van Gogh Museum deliver to PO boxes?
Due to shipping restrictions we are unable to ship to post office boxes. A signature is required for every delivery.
What happens if no one is present to receive the delivery?
Shipped with DHL Express? You can customize your delivery via DHL ODD and decide how, where and when the delivery takes place at the time and location that suits you best.
Do the corona measures have impact on my order?
Ordering products online via our webshop vangoghmuseumshop.com and having them delivered to your home remains possible. Our webshop is open and is continuing to deliver worldwide. Our customer service is available daily from 09:00 - 17:30.
First and foremost, our primary consideration is to ensure the health and wellbeing of both employees and customers. All the decisions we have made, and continue to make, are guided by the public health institute in the Netherlands (RIVM) and government advice.
What does this mean for your order?
Our courier DHL still delivers all orders worldwide in the usual way. Transit times may be slightly longer than normal for regions in lock-down. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
Additional measures
Online orders are shipped from our own warehouse. In addition to the generally applicable hygiene measures, we have taken a large number of additional hygiene measures for prevention. These include: contactless loading and unloading, no access to the warehouse by third parties and disinfection of utensils and internal transport equipment several times a day. Parcel deliverers keep 1.5 meters distance when delivering. They themselves sign for receipt in front of the recipient.
